Introduction to the BTEC National Diploma ICT Course
The BTEC National Diploma ICT Course is a computer
based course which has no tests involved in it and gets
assessed on just coursework. There are 18 units to cover, 
each unit will be on a different aspect of ICT.
Some of the units are networking, computer systems,
website design, business calculations and the IVA.

What qualification do I gain then?
At the end of the course you get a National Diploma in ICT.
This is the equivalent to three A – Level Grades. The marks
you can change differ to the A level grades. You get three
grades at the end of the course which gives you a certain
number of UCAS points. The possible grades you can get are:

The course can help you get a better understanding of the different aspects involved with computer related jobs and through doing 18 units you may find one unit very interesting and that you excelled at it so you may wish to carry on with it at a further education level.
